Service / Interaction Design, Contracting
Over the last eight years of contracting, I’ve worked for pubic sector, leading agencies, innovative startups and large corporates – across web, native mobile and SaSS products and services.
Clients have include NHS, DWP, Centrica/British Gas, The United Nations, Co-op Digital and Yara International.

I led the digital team here, owning UX delivery and acting as the spokesperson for “all things digital”, internally and with clients including Johnnie Walker, Guinness, Sony Playstation and Adidas.

I developed my digital skills and experience in various design and producer roles for agencies like Dare Digital, Playgroup and Alchemy, plus in-house at Airmiles.

Digital internships @ Citibank & Flavorpill, New York
My digital career started after university with a full-time webmaster internship at Citibank and another part-time role designing and building email newsletters for cultural listings startup, Flavorpill.
Approach
Depending on project scale and team structure, I can provide a bespoke mix of: UI design; Prototyping; and Design systems / Sitemaps; User flows; Wireframes; User research + personas; Content planning; Service design.
In terms of methodology, I’m adaptable to requirements, but do prefer to work with the full project team in an agile environment.

Over 20 years in digital, I’ve developed, maintained and evolved the following skills:
Strategy
I’ve led projects and workshops to define product and service strategy. Taking a service design approach, business and user needs can be considered across multiple touchpoints, in-line with defined design principles and technical frameworks.
User Experience
For me, UX balances design-based problem-solving with a deep empathy for users. I can deliver this with a mix of user research, workshops, personas, content planning, service design, user flows & wireframes.
UI Design & Prototyping
I’ve worked extensively as lead product designer, producing high-fidelity UI design and design systems, working into InVision prototypes for internal review, user testing and handover to engineering.
